The Beer
Austria · Group JAustrian lager with floral aroma and clean finish. Salzburg's classic: Stiegl Goldbräu, a golden Austrian lager — soft malt, a delicate floral-hop aroma and a clean, balanced finish.
The Brewer's Tale
HeritageThe Brewery
Stiegl has brewed in Salzburg since 1492 — the year Columbus sailed. Still independent and family-run, it is one of Austria's largest private breweries, named for the little steps (‘Stiege’) by its original brewhouse.
The Pour
Its flagship Goldbräu is a golden Austrian helles-style lager: smooth bready malt, a soft floral hop and a clean, rounded finish.
1492 and Counting
Five centuries of brewing in the Mozart city — Stiegl pairs that heritage with a modern, independent streak and its own farm estate.
At The Table
Austrian fare: Wiener Schnitzel, sausages with mustard, and a fresh pretzel.
