The Beer
Colombia · Group KColombian lager with light citrus character. Colombia's coastal classic: a pale, very light lager — crisp, faintly citrusy and bone-refreshing — made for Barranquilla heat and Caribbean beaches.
The Brewer's Tale
HeritageThe Brewery
Águila was first brewed in 1913 in Barranquilla on Colombia's Caribbean coast, by the brewing giant Bavaria (founded 1889). Bavaria is now part of AB InBev.
The Pour
A pale, light-bodied Colombian lager: clean, lightly citric and crisp, designed above all to refresh in tropical heat.
The Beer of the Coast
Águila is the sound of the Colombian Caribbean — vallenato, beaches and Barranquilla's Carnival — and a long-time backer of Colombian football.
At The Table
With coastal food: fried fish and patacones, ceviche, arepas and empanadas.
