Prestige

Refreshing Haitian lager with fruity notes. Haiti's first and only native beer: a crisp, light-bodied American-style lager — pale gold, gently sweet and clean — that commands the home market.

The Brewer's Tale

Heritage

The Brewery

Brewed by the Brasserie Nationale d'Haïti (BRANA) in Port-au-Prince, founded in 1973 by industrialist Michael Madsen.

Prestige launched in 1976 as Haiti's first locally brewed beer; Heineken took a controlling stake in 2011.

The Pour

A clean American-style lager: pale straw-gold, light body, soft grainy-sweet malt and a gentle, grassy-hop finish — built for the tropical heat.

The Pride of Haiti

‘The Pride of Haiti’ holds around 98% of its home market and is a genuine national symbol — twice a gold medallist at the World Beer Cup, in 2000 and 2012.

At The Table

Made for Haitian plates: griot (fried pork), tassot, fiery pikliz and rice with djon-djon — and anything off the grill.
