The Brewer's Tale

Heritage

The Brewery

Sapporo is Japan's oldest beer brand, first brewed in 1876 in the city of Sapporo on the northern island of Hokkaidō, under the pioneering Kaitakushi development board.

Its red North Star is one of Japan's oldest trademarks.

The Pour

An ultra-clean Japanese lager: pale gold, light-bodied and dry, with a crisp, refreshing, low-bitterness finish made to drink ice-cold.

The Star of Hokkaidō

The silver star carries the pioneering spirit of Hokkaidō — and the brand is a fixture of the Japanese izakaya and of Japan's football support abroad.

At The Table

Made for Japanese food: yakitori, gyoza, ramen, sushi and izakaya small plates.
