Speight's has been brewed at its Dunedin brewery on New Zealand's South Island since 1876, drawing on its own spring water. Long known as the ‘Pride of the South’, it is now part of Lion (owned by Kirin).

Speight's Gold Medal Ale is a New Zealand amber: light amber-gold, toasty malt with a hint of caramel, balanced bitterness and a clean, traditional finish.
