The Beer
Norway · Group IBold Norwegian craft beer with punchy hop flavour. Norway's craft standout: from a crisp pilsner to hop-forward IPAs and acclaimed barrel-aged stouts — bold, modern brewing from the west coast.
The Brewer's Tale
HeritageThe Brewery
Lervig was founded in Stavanger in 2003 — born when locals rallied to keep beer brewing in the city after the old Tou brewery closed. It grew into one of the world's most respected craft breweries.
The Pour
Beyond its everyday pilsner, Lervig is known for vivid, hop-forward IPAs and rich, barrel-aged stouts — full-flavoured and adventurous, a long way from the standard World Cup lager.
West-Coast Craft
From Norway's oil capital, Lervig built an international cult following — a craft name that punches well above a country not famous for beer.
At The Table
Big flavours for hearty food: burgers and fried chicken with an IPA, or a stout alongside dessert.
