The Brewer's Tale
HeritageThe Brewery
Tennent's Lager has been brewed at the Wellpark Brewery in the east end of Glasgow since 1885, when it became one of the first lagers brewed in Britain.
The Tennent family had been brewing on the Wellpark site since 1556. The brand is now owned by C&C Group.
The Pour
A pale Scottish lager: bright gold, light malt, a clean crisp body and an easy, refreshing finish — the everyday pint of Scottish bars.
The Big T
That bold red ‘T’ is a Glasgow icon — Tennent's is the default lager across Scotland's pubs and a fixture of its football culture.
At The Table
Pub-perfect: fish and chips, a steak pie, haggis — or a roll and square sausage the morning after.
