The Brewer's Tale

Heritage

The Brewery

Gazelle was first brewed in 1929 in Dakar by SOBOA — the Société des Brasseries de l'Ouest-Africain. Long Senegal's leading lager, the brewery is now part of the French Castel group.

The Pour

A pale West-African lager: very light and clear, with soft malt, a whisper of bitterness and a clean, thirst-quenching finish.

Dakar's Lager

From Dakar's lively bars to the beaches of Saint-Louis, an ice-cold Gazelle is the easy, sociable default of a Senegalese night.

At The Table

With Senegalese plates: thieboudienne, yassa chicken, grilled fish and dibi.
